About wibailoutpeople

We are a part of the national Bail Out The People movement which formed in 2008 to fight against the bailouts to the banks. Since then we have been in numerous fights against poverty, racism and war. We demand that the people be bailed out not the banks, a moratorium on all foreclosures, a federal jobs program now and other demands. We have been participating in the Wisconsin people's uprising, Bloombergville in NYC and numerous other people's actions.

Call for community allies:

The Palermo Workers Union asks all community allies to join us at least once a week. Come out to one of our regular weekly boycott/solidarity actions:
Every WEDNESDAY from 5:00 – 6:30 PM, boycott actions at a different local grocer in Milwaukee (informational picketing).
  • This Wednesday, September 12: Pick n’ Save & Sendiks, both located on N. Oakland Ave., just north of Capitol Dr.
Every FRIDAY from 1:30 – 3:15 p.m., walk the strike picket at Palermo Villa:  3301 West Canal St. Milwaukee (Menomonee Valley)
Every SATURDAY from 10am – 11:30am, boycott actions at Costco Wholesale (informational picketing). Grafton/Pewaukee/Middleton
  • This Saturday, September 15:  443 Pewaukee Road, Pewaukee, WI (meet up in parking lot of Hindu Temple across the street.)
