About wibailoutpeople

We are a part of the national Bail Out The People movement which formed in 2008 to fight against the bailouts to the banks. Since then we have been in numerous fights against poverty, racism and war. We demand that the people be bailed out not the banks, a moratorium on all foreclosures, a federal jobs program now and other demands. We have been participating in the Wisconsin people's uprising, Bloombergville in NYC and numerous other people's actions.

WI BOPM Signs For Trayvon Martin & Bo Morrison Protests

Fold these leaflet-sized posters in half and place them on a copier. Then you blow up each half by 200% of their original size. As a result you’ll get two 11″ x 17″ panels which together will make a 22″ x 17″ sign. The two panels can be placed on poster board and taped to make a complete sign.

Chronicling half a century of hostile U.S.-Cuba relations through the story of the Cuban 5 (intelligence agents imprisoned while penetrating Miami-based, Cuban exile terrorist groups), this film highlights decades of assassinations and sabotage at first backed and then ignored by the very government that launched a “war against terrorism.”

7 p.m., UW-Milwaukee @ Union Theatre, 2200 E. Kenwood Blvd., Milwaukee, WI

Free and open to the public

Sponsors: Progressive Students of Milwaukee, National Lawyers Guild-Cuba Subcommittee, Wisconsin Coalition to Normalize Relations with Cuba, Peace Action Wisconsin and the Latin American Solidarity Committee.
