About wibailoutpeople

We are a part of the national Bail Out The People movement which formed in 2008 to fight against the bailouts to the banks. Since then we have been in numerous fights against poverty, racism and war. We demand that the people be bailed out not the banks, a moratorium on all foreclosures, a federal jobs program now and other demands. We have been participating in the Wisconsin people's uprising, Bloombergville in NYC and numerous other people's actions.

Day of Rage #NoToAnnexation – Chicago

Join the Coalition for Justice in Palestine as we stand against Israel’s continued theft of Palestinian land! Palestinian sovereignty will be reduced to less than 10% of historic Palestine, as part of Israel’s most aggressive plan since the 1967 Naksa to steal Palestinian land.

We call on our community and allies to ensure that the attempted erasure of our people, land, and culture will not go unnoticed. We will demand justice! #NoToAnnexation #FreePalestine

Bring your masks, flags, and posters. Location will be released soon.

Pride Without Prejudice-A march for All Black Lives

Today, on the 51st Anniversary of the Stonewall Riots, Kenosha Pride is proud to announce Pride Without Prejudice, A March for All Black Lives. This event will be held on Sunday, July 12, 2020 starting at Noon at Library Park in Kenosha. This event will open with speakers and an 8 minute and 46 seconds observation in memory of George Floyd. We will then March in the street from Library Park to Veterans Memorial Park, where we will close with additional speakers.

This event will be showing solidarity and support for All Black Lives. All participants are STRONGLY encouraged to wear face coverings-Kenosha Pride will provide masks for those who need them thanks to a sponsorship from Vivent Health. Individual bottles of hand sanitizer will also be available.

Pictures will be taken at this event. For privacy considerations, all faces will be blurred before publication.

On June 28, 1969 the Stonewall Rebellion was started by Trans women of color who were tired of harassment by police. As Marsha P. Johnson, one of the leaders of the Stonewall Rebellion, said, “No Pride for some of us without liberation for all of us”. We stand with the communities of color and say when your arms are tired, we will help lift them up!
