We are a part of the national Bail Out The People movement which formed in 2008 to fight against the bailouts to the banks. Since then we have been in numerous fights against poverty, racism and war. We demand that the people be bailed out not the banks, a moratorium on all foreclosures, a federal jobs program now and other demands. We have been participating in the Wisconsin people's uprising, Bloombergville in NYC and numerous other people's actions.
Meet in Red Arrow Park (Dontre Hamilton Park) at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, 2024 to tell Biden’s motorcade we need a permanent ceasefire now and an end to genocide! Demonstration will last till about 5:30. Biden is going from Boys and Girls Club at 6th and Cherry to MSOE and then to Pfister.
The UM labor and campus community is gathering in support of the many unions (including 3 AFT Michigan locals) currently negotiating new contracts. The rally will take place at UM Central campus diag at 1pm on Saturday, March 16.
