About wibailoutpeople

We are a part of the national Bail Out The People movement which formed in 2008 to fight against the bailouts to the banks. Since then we have been in numerous fights against poverty, racism and war. We demand that the people be bailed out not the banks, a moratorium on all foreclosures, a federal jobs program now and other demands. We have been participating in the Wisconsin people's uprising, Bloombergville in NYC and numerous other people's actions.

Madison, November 12: (BLACK OUT MARCH) Solidarity With Black Students at Mizzou March

http://www.theblacktribune.org/2015/11/09/mo-state-activist-calls-for-national-action/

Greetings everyone,

We have all heard of the current racial tension and unrest that has been uprisen at the University of Missouri. In addition to institutional racism that has been continually overlooked by Mizzou’s faculty, there are Black students being threatened and forced to leave the campus they pay tuition at durring this very moment! We cannot sit back and wonder what we would do if we grew up in the era of Martin Luther King jr. And Malcom X because the time to act is now.

Recently the Black Tribune has called for a day of solidarity for all black students throughout the entire nation for the recent tragedies that have occurred at Mizzou’.

Black students on different college campuses all around the nation are planning demonstrations in support for Mizzou’s black students. It is imperative that we show our support here at UW-Madison because we know that these same institutional oppressions exist all throughout America.

We are all college students with busy schedules and heavy work loads but there comes a time when one must sacrifice there personal gain for what is more important as a whole.

We are calling for a march to emphasize:
Black College Students Matter
We Are here Too
& We Stand With MIZZOU’

Bring Signs!
Wear All Black!
Invite All who support!

We are calling for support from:
Wisconsin Black Student Union
African Student Association
NPHC and MGC -Fraternities and Sorrorities
Other Minority Organizations on Campus
Allies

We will be starting at bascom Hill at 8:15PM

Dontre Hamilton’s family denied justice again. Federal officials refuse to charge killer cop Christopher Manney

***UPDATE FROM COALITION FOR JUSTICE: There will be a press conference at 1 pm at the Federal Courthouse. The ex Killer cop will not be charged. City of Milwaukee are we not tired yet of this Corruption this total disregard for life. The Hamilton’s need your support! They need to pay for the things they are doing!***

MILWAUKEE — FOX6 News has learned of a meeting set for Tuesday, November 10 involving the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Milwaukee, the DOJ’s Civil Rights Division out of Washington, D.C., and the family of Dontre Hamilton and the Hamilton family’s attorneys. It is believed a decision will come down as to whether federal criminal civil rights charges will be issued against the former Milwaukee police officer who shot and killed Dontre Hamilton in Red Arrow Park.
After Milwaukee County District Attorney John Chisholm decided Christopher Manney would not be criminally charged after shooting and killing Dontre Hamilton — a Fire and Police Commission panel decided to uphold Manney’s firing from MPD, and ruled that his use of force in this case violated policy.

Manney has appealed the FPC panel’s decision.

This past summer, the Hamilton family indicated they were frustrated by the fact that the federal review of the case by the United States Department of Justice was taking so long — seven months after the investigation was launched.

In late July, Senator Tammy Baldwin and Rep. Gwen Moore expressed similar concern — and issued a letter to U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch.

Last week, we told you Christopher Manney has been approved to receive duty disability retirement benefits through the city of Milwaukee.”

It’s time we mobilize co-workers, families, and neighbors to elect people who will help us strengthen public schools, raise wages for all low wage workers, strengthen our freedom to stick together in unions, make it easier to access quality home care and child care, ensure that Black Lives Matter, and fight for comprehensive immigration reform.

Join us as we meet at Red Arrow Park at 4:45 where the MTEA and OLB contingents will gather. We will then join other groups marching at City Hall at 5:00 before finally marching to the Milwaukee Theater, where the GOP presidential debate will be taking place.
