Brother Larry Holmes from the People’s Power Assemblies is in Baltimore today [April 25] standing strong against police terror along with thousands of his sisters and brothers. “They [Wall Street and their servants] need a little history,” Larry Holmes, a national organizer for the Peoples Power Assemblies, told the crowd on Saturday. “Martin Luther King was an outside agitator. Malcolm X was an agitator. Jesus Christ was an agitator.” “You can’t keep a problem like police brutality a local thing,” Mr. Holmes said. “The world is watching Baltimore now.”

Mumia Abu-Jamal was seen today by his wife and his condition has worsened. He, is gravely ill. We are asking everyone to call the prison. Right now. It may be late, but call whenever you get this.
Mumia needs 24 hour care and supervision. He can not be in this condition in general population. In this state he may not be able ask for help, he may lose consciousness. He is too weak. (He was released from the infirmary two days ago).
His condtiion: He is extremely swollen in his neck, chest, legs, and his skin is worse than ever, with open sores. He was not in a wheelchair, but can only take baby steps. He is very weak. He was nodding off during the visit. He was not able to eat- he was fed with a spoon. These are symptoms that could be associated with hyper glucose levels, diabetic shock, diabetic coma, and with kidney stress and failure.
Please call these numbers, and any other numbers you have for the Prison and the Governor.

Demand that the prison officials call his wife Wadiya Jamal and his lawyer Bret Grote immediately.

Milwaukee, WI April 17, 2015 — — “They wanted us to go away. They wanted us to stop. They wanted us to be satisfied. But we are not, and we won’t be until Black life is valued and respected in our city,” said Nate Hamilton, brother of Dontre Hamilton. On Tuesday, April 21 at 12 Noon, the Coalition For Justice and Hamilton Family will hold a press conference at Red Arrow Park to announce the one year anniversary of Dontre Hamilton’s death that is approaching at the end of this month. Dontre Hamilton was murdered by a Milwaukee Police Officer, for resting in a public park. On Thursday, April 30, the one year anniversary, the city will stand at Dontre’s ground zero.
