Milwaukee, June 30: Support prisoners on hunger strike with Overpass Light Brigade
Support prisoners on hunger strike with Overpass Light Brigade
Several prisoners at Waupun, Columbia, & Green Bay Correctional Institution in WI have been on a hunger strike to demand the end of long term solitary confinement. The Department of Corrections (DOC) has responded with the torturous practice of force-feeding them. More information about this campaign can be found here: http://solitarytorture.blogspot.com/
On Thursday, at 9 PM, Overpass Light Briagde and Milwaukee IWW are asking supporters to gather outside the DOC building in Milwaukee (6th & Wells). From there, people will go nearby to participate in an OLB action to hold a message of support for the prisoners on hunger strike. Please join us!
