Madison, March 19: #BlackLivesMatter: Mayor Debate

Time to call truth to power, time to call for accountability from our elected officials. Mayor Paul Soglin and Ald. Scott Resnick will debate each other March 19 at the Barrymore Theater, 2090 Atwood Ave.We must demand what answers they will have about Madison policing methods, about our disproportionate arrest rates, about the current growing wealth gap between Blacks and whites in Madison. We must demand that they do not double down on past solutions that are band-aids to the radical problem of institutional racism in this city. Come to this debate to ask the hard questions of how each candidate will address Madison, Wi leading the Nation in racial disparities.Come join YGB in letting the voices of the community be heard. We demand answers and real solutions.
