Tuesday, February 21, is spring primary Election Day in Wisconsin. Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Look up your polling location and view a sample ballot here.
The Wisconsin State AFL-CIO has endorsed Tony Evers as Superintendent of Public Instruction for our neighborhood schools. Evers is in a three-way race and every vote counts!
Tony Evers understands that each and every Wisconsin child deserves a quality, public education in a fully-funded school. Evers can be counted on to work together with students, parents, and educators to create a 21st Century public education system where every child gets the education they deserve.
If you’re concerned about the direction Betsy DeVos, who is President Trump’s pick for Education Secretary, will take our schools in, vote Tony Evers on Tuesday, February 21.
Evers will stand up to attacks on educators’ rights to collectively bargain and have a union voice in the workplace. He is the only candidate who will fight against privatization efforts from out-of-state special interests that turn our schools into for-profit machines.
For quality public schools vote Tony Evers!
In Solidarity,
Phil Neuenfeldt, President
Stephanie Bloomingdale, Secretary-Treasurer
