The #Jax5 are tentatively scheduled to have their first day in court on May 1st. The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is taking a lot of heat in the media for their wrongdoing, and now it’s time to start getting those charges dropped. We need to call State Attorney Melissa Nelson at 904-255-2500 and demand that she drop the charges on the #Jax5!
The #Jax5 are five demonstrators who were brutalized and arrested on bogus charges on April 7th during a peace demo calling for peace with Syria in downtown Jacksonville, FL.
Our calls have been having a tremendous effect and we need to ramp it up – invite your friends to this event and share it nationally. Groups from all over the United States have been calling to support the #Jax5.
Call Melissa Nelson at 904-255-2500 and say “Drop the charges on the #Jax5 now!” Make sure to mention any organizations that you belong to.
