International Solidarity Results In the Dropping Of Felony Charges For Durham Freedom Fighters, Struggle Continues To Have All Charges Dropped & To Build A People’s Tribunal

UPDATE: The district attorney said the felony charges haven’t been dropped. Keep making those phone and sending messages and sharing info about #DefendDurham

From: Workers World Party Durham Branch

Today Durham DA Echols decided not to pursue any felony charges against #DefendDurham defendants, including our comrades, for toppling the Confederate statue. Our movement is powerful. After dozens of unions & community organizations speaking out, hundreds of phone calls, thousands of emails flooding the DA, we have overcome. We still have to beat back the misdemeanor charges. Onwards now to the People’s Tribunal! If you would like to testify about crimes of white supremacy, or want to be involved with the Commission of Inquiry, please DM us. #SmashWhiteSupremacy
