Raleigh, North Carolina, May 16, 2018: March & Rally To Fight For Public Schools, Educators and Students!

Here is the schedule – Join in when you can on May 16th to Advocate for Public Education!

9:45 AM: Meet us at the Memorial Auditorium/Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts on 2 East South Street, Raleigh. (Look for our purple FLAG)

10 AM We march to the NC General Assembly

12 to 1pm: We will attempt to visit legislators but we have no idea if we can get into the building or not – and they may gavel in and adjourn etc.)

1:15 pm to 2:45 pm: Join us for a FREE screening of the Documentary TEACHER OF THE YEAR at the North Carolina Museum of History on 5 East Edenton Street, Raleigh.

3:30 PM Rally for Respect on the Bicentennial Mall -between the NC History and Science Museums.

The NCAE Black Caucus is ALL IN on May 16th!!!!! Our COLLECTIVE voices must be heard in Raleigh, and we need all members and stakeholders to participate in making this day of action count!

It is often our children, parents, teachers, support staff, and communities being left behind. We can no longer afford to sit idly by and allow others who seek only to serve themselves make decisions that impact our ability to thrive and grow.

SO JOIN US! Stand up, stand out, and stand firm with the educators of North Carolina on May 16, as we make our collective voices heard on behalf of education in North Carolina. If we want change, we must invest in it!

Take a stand! NCAE DAY of ACTION 5-16-2018!
