Oshkosh, June 16, 2018: Juneteenth Celebration

Hosted by United Action Oshkosh

520 Pratt Trail, Oshkosh, WI, 1-4 P.M., Menominee Park

A celebration of the Juneteenth holiday, which comemorates the day the last Black slave was freed (a full two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed), and serves as an opportunity to celebrate Black culture and the continued struggle for complete liberation.

There will be free food, music, and a possible discussion on the struggles of the Black community in Oshkosh up to the present day. We hope folks can make it out!
