The Chicago Solidarity Center was founded on the idea that solidarity among workers, oppressed peoples, and immigrants is our greatest asset in the struggle for a better world. By acting as a resource for workers, grassroots organizations, anti-racist activists, advocates for immigrants, and anti-war/anti-imperialist organizers, we hope to build concrete solidarity between all those fighting for justice in Chicago.
Our volunteer-supported and operated office is located at the intersection of Chicago’s Noble Square, East Village, and Wicker Park neighborhoods, just a few blocks from the Division Blue Line stop.
Visitors and comrades are always welcome, and we’re proud to offer our space to any organization that shares our values of solidarity, people-power, and struggle.
Chicago Solidarity Center resources include the following:
-Space for Events or Meetings
-A Quiet Co-Working Area
-Storage Space for Organizing Resources
-Equipment for Demonstrations and Rallies
-A Radical Lending Library
The Chicago Solidarity Center is a freedom space for people of color, women, gender oppressed people, and all oppressed people. Neither harassment nor abuse is tolerated.
