This day, sponsored by the #CLOSEmsdf Campaign, will offer:

Training on becoming a more effective leader;

Fellowship with other people who are working for justice;

A chance to learn about the #CLOSEmsdf Campaign, and how you can be a part of it.

#CLOSEmsdf is a statewide organizing movement. The #CLOSEmsdf Campaign Coalition is now 49 organizations strong. The campaign is demanding that Wisconsin policymakers

Cut Wisconsin’s correctional population in half;

Stop incarcerating people for crimeless rule violations;

Close Milwaukee Secure Detention Facility;

Redirect resources saved to the communities that have been the most disproportionately harmed by mass incarceration and mass supervision.
