Southeast Wisconsin People’s Climate March

Rise for Climate, Jobs, and Justice
2018 People’s Climate Rally and March
Southeast Wisconsin

On September 8th, after months of organizing and movement-building, the Peoples Climate Movement will bring tens of thousands of people across the country together and into the streets to demand bold action on climate, jobs, and justice. Those demands will determine the future of our movement – and our world – for years to come.

The theme for this year’s day of action is “Rise for Climate, Jobs, and Justice.” It will take place on September 8th, which is four days before the Global Climate Action Summit and will help build support for bold, equitable, and justice-oriented climate action.

Issues this march will focus on:
100% clean energy
Public Safety
Police Accountability
Water quality
Lead pipes

We’ll meet at Zeidler Park where we will rally and hear from powerful speakers and then march to City Hall, where we do an action there and back for voter registration.
