900 Quay Street, Manitowoc, WI (Behind City Hall At The Riverfront) – 6-7 P.M.
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was murdered while supporting sanitation workers in Memphis, TN April 4, 1968. We – a diverse array of labor and community organizations and individuals – will be honoring Dr. King’s legacy by joining together in unity.
We oppose any manifestations of hate – from Manitowoc to Georgia – against people of color, workers, women and the LGBTQ community. We will not stand down to the old or new Jim Crow!
We will be joining together in the spirit of Dr. King who once said: “Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.”
We will not be silent. We will not be demoralized. We will not be turned around by hate. We will build unity, hope, peace, love and social justice!
Social distancing practiced and masks required.
Family friendly event.
Rally behind Manitowoc City Hall by the Riverfront – rain or shine.
Labor Donated
