Union Members Expel National Guard from the St. Paul Labor Center

From my Brad Sigal:“VICTORY! Some Saint Paul union members found out today that the Regional Labor Federation building was being used as a staging ground for the National Guard while they occupy the Twin Cities in the aftermath of the police murder of Daunte Wright. Tonight a couple dozen rank and file union members gathered here on like an hour notice after online discussion to demand that the National Guard be removed from the hall. And within an hour or so, the victory was won, and the Guard was asked to leave, and they drove away in their dozen or so military vehicles. It’s not very often we win victories this quickly but it happened in this case when people who care mobilized quickly.”
