Join us for a Solidarity Rally to Stop Lines 3 & 5 in Appleton on Saturday, May 29th! Stand in solidarity with the Indigenous-led resistance to Enbridge’s Lines 3 & 5. Wear red to show your support. Masks are recommended.
Enbridge’s Line 3 “replacement” project is the largest project in the corporation’s history. This new pipeline would carry nearly twice the volume of tar sands and establish a new route, cutting through Indigenous lands.
Enbridge’s Line 5 poses such a serious threat to the Great Lakes that the State of Michigan ordered it to be shut down on May 12th of 2021. Enbridge defied this order and is now operating illegally under the Straights of Mackinac, which connects Lake Michigan and Lake Huron. Line 5 has been operating illegally on the Bad River reservation since 2017 when the sovereign nation voted to remove the pipeline.
Together, we can stop these pipelines. We urge President Biden to honor treaty rights and science by halting the construction of these dangerous and hazardous pipelines.
