Join us in standing up for treaty rights and supporting the Indigenous-led resistance to Enbridge’s Line 3 pipeline! This is one of 3 caravans from around Wisconsin traveling to the Treaty People’s Gathering.
People from across North America are answering the call to come to the Treaty People Gathering in northern Minnesota to support the First Nations-led resistance to the Line 3 pipeline. This gathering is about supporting direct action to stop the Line 3 pipeline. Camping and food will be available at the gathering. For those who can’t or don’t wish to camp, there are lodging options in the area. Please review and share this information to learn more about this gathering: https://treatypeoplegathering.com and sign up.
Line 3 would cut through Indigenous lands while violating treaty rights. It would carry 700,000 barrels of tar sands oil from Canada each day. Nearly twice as much as the current pipeline does!
The caravan will meet on Friday, July 5th at 8 am at Pamperin Park in Green Bay. It will stop in Keshena at 9:30 am to allow more people to join in. Together we can stop Line 3!
