Dear Friends of Justice and a Livable Planet,
There isn’t much time left. As this week’s IPCC report confirms, we are rapidly approaching the “point of no return” for life on planet Earth. It is imperative that we stop Line 3 – Not only is it a violation to the 1855 Treaty with the Anishinaabe people of that area, a destructive abomination to hundreds of miles of pristine natural land – including about 800 wetlands, and 200 bodies of water, if we burn the tar sands oil that is slated to flow through this pipeline, it will be “game-over for the climate” and end of any hope for securing a livable future for our children.

Actions to Stop Tar Sands Pipelines – Aug. 24th … Aug – 25th … ?
*** We need your help! Our hope is that there will be many solidarity actions and caravans around Wisconsin that will tie into the actions outlined below. - Tuesday, August 24th – Wisconsin Solidarity Caravans to stop Lines 3 and 5. State St. Corner of the Wisconsin State Capitol.
Car caravans will join a Wisconsin Capitol Rally to Stop Lines 3 and 5 at noon.
