Wisconsin Coalition Against Sexual Assault

WCASA is pleased with the Supreme Court’s decision today in Chrystul Kizer’s case. While this decision is extremely important to her defense, we continue to advocate for the charges against Chrystul to be dismissed. Too often, survivors of violence – especially girls and women of color – are criminalized for defending themselves. We continue to stand in solidarity with Chrystul and all survivors of sexual violence.
WCASA is in solidarity with local organizers in the Milwaukee community in advocating for the release of Chrystul Kizer. Chrystul is a sex trafficking victim who has experienced and is living with the impacts of trauma. We ask you join us in the actions to support Chrystul provided by the #FreeChrystul Defense Committee.
