A welcome, potluck Feast, brief tour, and history briefing on Mooningwanaakaning Minis (Madeline Island)

Skabewis (Paul DeMain) and other Islanders will share some of the important historical and cultural information about this sacred place to the Anishinaabeg.

At noon, after enjoying converging with the Point to La Pointe Open Water Swim Event in Bayfield and Madeline Island, we will board the Madeline Island Ferry ($17 – round trip – financial assistance available to any who need.)

Once on Mooningwanaakaning Minis, we will be greeted by Skabewis and other Islanders who will host a potluck feast and presentation.
