Will The Moratorium Be Extended?

Find out on Monday, January 23rd, at the public hearing where the Honorable Denise P. Hood, will decide if the moratorium on water shutoffs in the city of Detroit will be extended or if the Detroit Water and Sewerage Department can resume water shutoffs as a means to collect past due water bills.

The hearing will take place on Monday, January 23rd at the Eastern District of Michigan United States District Court, located at 231 W Lafayette Blvd, Detroit, MI 48226. The hearing is scheduled to begin at 10 am.
