Pittsburgh Gazette Workers Still On Strike!

  • Post author By wibailoutpeople

Thanks so much to everyone that turned out in such great numbers for our Block party on Saturday. In addition to the good fellowship and solidarity from over 100 supporters, we gave out more than 300 signs that we now see popping up in yards throughout the region. Displaying these signs is an important part of our effort to show broad community support for our fellow strikers at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. We think our fight is important for all workers and for the future of local journalism in this region we call home. Your support is a vital part of that effort. If you were unable to attend Saturday’s event, we are having another yard sign distribution from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 5, at General Robinson Street and Chuck Noll Way on Pittsburgh’s North Shore, behind the Post-Gazette and two blocks up from Heinz Field. We will have signs available for you to pick up there. Also, if you need signs delivered head to http://bit.ly/PGYard and we can arrange to get them to you. In solidarity,

Striking Post-Gazette Workers
