The FPC is scheduled to vote on adopting a Standard Operating Procedure regarding the public release of video footage pertaining to critical incidents. The proposal is for a 15-day window for public release, and families of victims will have access to footage within 48-hours of the incident. The FPC will discuss possible exceptions for the MPD Chief to withhold the footage longer. Join us in voicing the following demands:
1.) No exceptions for MPD Chief to delay the release
2.) Adopt the SOP with the provision for families to have access to footage within 48-hours.
