On April 28, a hateful Nazi swastika was painted on the Woodward Avenue Shul, a Jewish community center in Royal Oak. This act of Anti-Semitism cannot be tolerated in our community or anywhere.

JVP-Detroit calls upon all our friends and allies to join us on Wednesday, May 3 at 5 pm to say NO TO HATE, NO TO NAZIS, NO TO ANTI-SEMITISM in our community and everywhere. Please bring signs and your solidarity.

JVP-Detroit supports Rabbi Mendel Polter of the Shul when he stated “an act like this will not instill fear in the Jewish people.” We condemn this Anti-Semitic vandalism and hatred here in Royal Oak and all racism and bigotry everywhere.
