Script 1 – For House offices
My name is {Your Name}. I am a constituent of {Representative’s Name}. I am calling regarding the escalating violence in Palestine/Israel. Representative {Name} must support immediate steps to de-escalate. This means actively opposing any attempts to send further weapons to the Israeli government and military as it wreaks havoc on the Gaza strip, including the forthcoming resolution from Representatives Meeks and McCaul, which only serves to dehumanize Palestinians and fuel violence. The only way forward is addressing the root causes of violence: Israeli military occupation and apartheid, and ending U.S. complicity in this oppression.
