Feb. 14, 2024: Join the Hands Off Rafah Phone Zap

Immediately after Israel massacred and killed 100 Palestinian refugees who were sheltering in Rafah on Sunday night, the Senate responded in the most horrific way possible.

The Senate agreed to send $14 BILLION MORE in deadly weapons to Israel early this morning. Every senator who voted for this package has blood on their hands.

This $95 billion “Deadly Deal” is designed to annihilate Palestinian life. It disbands the UNRWA humanitarian aid agency for Palestinian refugees, permanently cutting off funding at the very moment when it’s needed most.

I am beyond enraged, Beth. Only three non-Republican senators, Sen. Peter Welch (D-Vermont), Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vermont), and Sen. Jeff Merkley (D-Oregon) voted against the Deadly Deal. Other senators found it perfectly acceptable to fuel this genocide with billions upon billions of bombs and bullets.

As the Deadly Deal heads to the House next, let’s put up a fight to stop it.
