Juneteenth Jubilee Parade and Celebration
When: June 19 | 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Milwaukee
The 55th annual Juneteenth celebration in Milwaukee is themed “Honoring the Past and Empowering the Future” for 2026. The event includes a Jubilee parade, a Juneteenth pageant and a street festival. There will be special sections for veterans, kids, teens and seniors throughout the festival. This year, Summerfest will also host a celebration at 6 p.m. at the Henry Maier Festival Park.
When and Where: June 18 from 6 to 7 p.m. at Henry Maier Festival Park, 200 N. Harbor Drive, Milwaukee | June 19 from 9 to 11 a.m. at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Milwaukee and 1 to 3 p.m. at The Peace Park 464 W Locust Street, Milwaukee
Whether you opt to head to the Juneteenth parade on June 19 or the Summerfest ceremony on June 18, experience photo coverage and connect with other creatives during the photo walks. The event is open to all photographers and visual storytellers to document Black culture, free and joy during the annual celebration. There will also be a meetup at The Peace Park on June 19.
GLENDALE
Juneteenth Gospel Festival MKE
When: June 27 | 2 p.m.
Where: Richard Mislowski Community Park | 2200 W. Bender Road, Glendale
Gospel Fest will feature live local music groups and choirs, food vendors, family activities and more. It offers attendees a chance at cultural discovery.
Madison area
When: June 20 | 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Penn Park | 2101 Fisher St., Madison
The parade kicks off at 11 a.m. Floats, music and dance will lead the way to Penn Park. Following the parade, there will be activities and events celebrating Black history and liberation. There will also be flag raisings at the City-County building and the Capitol.

Enjoy community connection, lawn games, live music and a barbeque to celebrate this historical day.
Green Bay/Fox Cities
From Freedom to Flourishing: Juneteenth Green Bay
When: June 13 Where: Joannes Park | 215 S. Baird St., Green Bay
The 2026 theme for this event is “From Freedom to Flourishing.” It’s meant to highlight that the holiday is not just about history, but about what comes next. A parade will also take place around 11:30 a.m. and begin on Chicago Street at We All Rise: African American Resource Center.
FOND DU LAC
Ebony Vision’s 18th Annual Juneteenth Celebration
When: June 20 | 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Buttermilk Creek Park | 700 S. Park Avenue, Fond du Lac
The annual event will feature education, music, art, dance, food, curated vendors and more. The event organizers promise thought and intention in the day’s events.
La Crosse
La Crosse Juneteenth Celebration
When: June 20 | 12 to 8 p.m.
Where: Riverside Park | 100 State St., La Crosse
The fifth annual event will feature food, dancing, music, community booths and more. It promises to be a “party in the park.”
BURLINGTON
Burlington’s 7th Annual Juneteenth Celebration returns on June 20 from 12 PM – 5 PM at 700 N Pine St, Burlington, WI 53105. Sponsored by: BCD Racism. For seven years, our community has come together to commemorate freedom, celebrate culture, uplift local businesses, and create space for connection across generations. Location: Low Daily
Beloit
When: June 20 | 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Jones Pavilion, Riverside Park | 1160 Riverside Dr., Beloit
Rising Queens Inc. hosts its annual Juneteenth event, featuring a live DJ, Black-owned businesses, family-friendly activities and more.
Kenosha
When: June 20 | 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Lincoln Park | 6900 18th Ave., Kenosha
Enjoy a day of family-friendly activities, complete with food, a farmer’s market, music, Mr. and Miss Juneteenth honorees, Black Wall Street Kenosha, a basketball tournament and more.
Sheboygan
When: June 19 | 5 to 9 p.m.
Where: Kiwanis Park | 726 Kiwanis Park Road, Sheboygan
This “community-wide celebration of freedom” is back this year with a community resource fair, a pit master barbeque contest, a royal court and more.
Racine
4th Annual Racine Juneteenth Parade
When: June 13 | 11 a.m.
Where: Main Street between 5th-14th, on 14th Street from Main Street to Grand Ave., and Grand Ave. from 14th St. to Caron Butler Dr.
Take in dance groups, floats, youth groups, marching bands, the Milwaukee Black Cowboy Buffalo Soldiers Association and more.
