St. Mary’s Nurses in Madison – Through Labor & Community Solidarity – Win Union Election

Almost 900 St. Mary’s nurses now have a strong union voice for their patients and profession! On June 11, they voted by 89% to unite with union nurses at Meriter and UW Health to raise standards for patient care across the region. Next up, nurses look forward to sitting down with SSM Health to negotiate a contract with the staffing, retention and policies they need.
