ICE Confirmed in Milwaukee. Friday, June 26: Since yesterday and throughout today, our Rapid Response Line has received and verified multiple reports regarding ICE activity in different areas of Milwaukee:
-Yesterday, we received reports of ICE activity at and around 1500 W. National Avenue.
-This morning, we received reports of ICE activity at and around North 27th Street.
-This afternoon, we confirmed the detention of one person at 23rd Street and Greenfield Avenue; of two people at North 7th Street and W. McKinley Place; and one person at 35th Street and Clybourn Street.
We are in contact with families who have reached out to us and are supporting them based on their needs. We will continue to monitor the situation and share updates.
