We’ll be hitting the streets outside local post offices to raise the alarm. We need to protect our public Post Office.
Right now, our public Postal Service is facing: attacks on Postal finances, attempts to pack the USPS Board of Governors with corporate raiders, and a concerted campaign against our ability to vote-by-mail. Any one of those could have a huge impact on our communities. Together, they are a big problem.
The good news is that our voices make a difference. Swift action in the courts has stopped the biggest threat to vote-by-mail. But the job is not done.
The work you did organizing in your community has made a real difference in the past. I hope to see you this Thursday, July 9, to talk about our plans.
