| A key Senate committee will vote next Wednesday on whether to confirm two corporate candidates to the USPS Board of Governors. This board hires and fires the Postmaster General. It sets the direction of the Postal Service and oversees its management. The White House has nominated four corporate extremists. Two of the four will face the first of a pair of votes on their nominations next Wednesday. Will you send your senators a message? Tell them no corporate extremists on the USPS Board of Governors. At a time when small businesses and families are struggling to make ends meet and balance the books, the Postal Service is a vital lifeline. We can’t afford a team of corporate raiders who would endanger the future of the Postal Service. In the past months, we have seen threats to vote-by-mail and postal finances. Corporate extremists are clear – they would cut the service and sell-off the USPS for private profit. This is so serious that we are taking to the streets to protest. But first, help us by sending a message to your senators. We can’t let them take control of the Postal Service. Tell your senators to reject any corporate extremists on the Board of the USPS. Let’s stand up together and make a difference, Graham – US Mail Not For Sale |
