Corey should be alive and here. He will never get to talk to or spend time with his children again. They will never get to hug their Dad again or call him or talk to him, and he will never get to hug his babies again on this earth. Corey should be alive and here and home.
Rashad couldn’t wait to be a Dad. Jayla’s Dad. It was everything he prayed for growing up. His own family. Rashad’s and my love story started in 7th grade. We met at my dad’s basketball open gym that summer and it was Love and Basketball from there❤️. Rashad and Jayla should be getting to experience life with each other. Rashad should be alive and here and home and getting to be Jayla’s Dad. We were growing our family and now we will never get to. Everything was stolen from Rashad. And from our babygirl Jayla. And from me. And our dog Bosco. And our family and loved ones. If you never got the chance to meet Rashad, I wish so badly you could have. He was so full of love, real love, genuine love. He made everyone’s hearts so happy. He was so happy and so excited for our present and future. He had his hospital bag packed ready for Jayla to be born. He was asking me every moment if it was time. We had a doula and Rashad went to every meeting and chose essential oils that reminded him of our home for birth at the hospital, he learned about labor and c sections and about so much. He lifted my belly up with a band to learned labor positions. They stole the life of the most beautiful person, husband, father, son, brother, cousin, friend, and so much more. Rashad we love you forever and will fight for you forever❤️💫🌹justiceforrashadnelson
