Join us for free, monthly virtual screenings of VS. GOLIATH—a powerful, award-winning new documentary series following everyday people across the United States as they stand up to the fossil fuel industry and fight for the future of their communities.
VS. GOLIATH tells stories of courage and resistance from the frontlines of the climate crisis. Each month, we’ll screen one episode and hear directly from the people living these stories.

Screenings are held on the first Tuesday of each month, July through October. This second screening, August 4th at 8PM-9:15 ET / 5PM-6:15 PT will show VS GOLIATH: Appalachia, followed by a Q&A with the frontline leaders featured in the film.
Army veteran Russell swore an oath to protect and serve his country. Now, as the waters, forests, and way of life he calls home come under threat, he bands together with farmers and Indigenous leaders to defend his community from the domestic threat of the Mountain Valley pipeline. Wielding innovative and tried-and-true resistance tactics, this Appalachian community takes on a devastating project, backed by a shadowy corporation and one of the nation’s most powerful politicians.
The post-screening discussion will feature Russell Chisholm and Crystal Mello of the Protect Our Water Heritage Rights Coalition, and Jason Crazy Bear Campos-Keck of 7 Directions of Service, moderated by Cathy Collentine, director of Sierra Club’s Beyond Dirty Fuels campaign.
