Wisconsin Green Party Stands With Matthew Arndt in the 6th Congressional District
WISCONSIN — The Wisconsin Green Party Coordinating Council is standing firmly behind Matthew Arndt, our candidate for Congress in Wisconsin’s 6th District.
Matthew believes Palestinians have the right to live in freedom and safety. So does the Wisconsin Green Party.
For too long, the United States has supplied the weapons and money used to wage war in Gaza. Tens of thousands of Palestinians have been killed, entire neighborhoods have been destroyed, and families have been driven from their homes. Republicans and Democrats have both helped make this possible.
Matthew wants it to stop. He supports ending U.S. military aid for the war in Gaza, a permanent ceasefire, and the right of Palestinians to determine their own future. Opposing the actions of the Israeli government does not mean opposing Jewish people, just as criticizing our own government does not mean opposing Americans. This is about human rights, not religion or nationality.
But Matthew is running for Congress for more than one reason.
He’s a CPA who started his own tax and investment firm. He’s seen firsthand how our tax laws favor big corporations and wealthy insiders while working people and small businesses struggle to get by.
He wants to break up corporate monopolies, end corporate handouts, and pass Medicare for All. Nobody should lose their home or go bankrupt because someone in the family gets sick.
And he’s tired of watching Congress find billions of dollars for another war while telling Americans there’s no money for healthcare, housing, or the needs of their own communities.
That’s why Matthew is running. And that’s why the Wisconsin Green Party is proud to support him.
People in the 6th District have had plenty of opportunities to vote Republican or Democrat. They’ve heard the promises. They’ve watched the wars continue, healthcare costs climb, and corporations grow richer no matter which party controls Washington.
It’s time to try something different.
