’A VIGIL FOR THE MISSING: IN TIMES OF FEAR AND UNCERTAINTY, COMMUNITY IS OUR STRENGTH’🚨
“A few weeks ago, a graduate student enrolled in a local university was detained and ultimately deported by U.S. Immigration and customs Enforcement (ICE).
As her community in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, gathers to honor her and stand alongside all immigrants impacted by ICE detention and enforcement, we invite the Superior, Wisconsin, community to join us in solidarity.
We gather for one of our own. We gather for every family separated, every life disrupted, and every person whose dignity and humanity deserve to be recognized.
Please join us for a candlelight vigil as we stand together in compassion, solidarity, and a shared commitment to justice. Some candles will be available courtesy of Pilgrim Lutheran Church.
Friday, October 30th, 2026, from 6-7 pm, Pilgrim Lutheran Church’s parking lot 820 Belknap Street, Superior, WI
This event is not endorsed by or affiliated with any local university.”
