Stop the Privatization of the People’s Water in Wisconsin, Call NOW

No Water Takeover in Wisconsin

DAM THIS BILL!

THIS TIME MAKE IT’S PERSONAL

If you haven’t sent off an email to your local state senator or pivotal state
senators — DO IT!

If you already sent off an email to your local state senator or pivotal state senators — DO IT AGAIN!

This time think about the ways clean, cheap water is important in your life. Did you just have a baby? Does someone in your family or someone you know have a health problem? Do you or someone you know have a business such as a restaurant or a salon that relies on a dependable water source?

Let your state senator know.

LET’S KEEP THIS BILL OFF OF TUESDAY’S CALENDAR

Water CLEARLY is too important to be left up to profiteers.

10am: massive mobilization at the Capitol in Madison
8am: Buses leave from 1027 S. 5th St. in Milwaukee

In 2006 the community defeated the Sensenbrenner bill HB 4437. We need this action again to defefat AB 450 and SB 533.

AB 450 would have police act like Immigration agents.

Support Dontre Day, April 30 2016

The Coalition for Justice  (CFJ) and Mothers for Justice United  (MFJU) are in the process of planning Dontre Day on April 30th, 2016 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and we need your help to make this day possible.

Dontre Day is an annual event in honor of Dontre Hamilton, a young Black man who was murdered at Red Arrow Park on April 30th, 2014 as the result of racial profiling and police brutality. The event was initiated in 2015 to celebrate his life, and to engage the community in the struggle to improve the lives and survival chances of young Black men and women. This effort requires change in the hearts and minds of policymakers in our country, and a change in the hearts and minds of our fellow citizens.

The event will be held at the park where Dontre was murdered, and will be a family-friendly celebration. To make the day possible CFJ and MFJU are asking for donations to support the event.

If you have any questions, or if you are able to donate in other ways, please email us at thecoalitionforjustice@gmail.com.

We thank you in advance for your support!
