About wibailoutpeople

We are a part of the national Bail Out The People movement which formed in 2008 to fight against the bailouts to the banks. Since then we have been in numerous fights against poverty, racism and war. We demand that the people be bailed out not the banks, a moratorium on all foreclosures, a federal jobs program now and other demands. We have been participating in the Wisconsin people's uprising, Bloombergville in NYC and numerous other people's actions.

WI BOPM MESSAGE: STOP RIGHT-TO-WORK-FOR-LESS NO BUSINESS AS USUAL – SHUT DOWN RTW! RE-OCCUPY THE CAPITOL!

MESSAGE: http://tinyurl.com/mooewgz

Youth, Students, Workers, Community:
STOP RIGHT-TO-WORK-FOR-LESS
NO BUSINESS AS USUAL – SHUT DOWN RTW! RE-OCCUPY THE CAPITOL!

Wisconsin Bail Out The People Movement: https://wibailoutpeople.org/ / https://www.facebook.com/wibailoutpeople.org

In yet another show of disregard for the sentiments of the majority of the people, right-wing legislators and Scott Walker are now trying to ram through the anti-worker, anti-community right-to-work-for-less legislation. This union-busting bill violates international labor standards set by the United Nations.

Members of WI BOPM, who slept on the floor of the Capitol with our sisters and brothers in 2011, say the fight is not over-it has just begun. NOW! is the time to do everything possible to stop Walker, his right wing buddies and his billion dollar backers! We fought back and inspired the world in 2011 and we can RE-OCCUPY THE CAPITOL!

If you are unemployed this is your fight! If you are a student this is your fight! No matter what union you are in or what you do as a member of the working class – this is your fight!

This is not just a battle against one bad governor – it is ultimately a fight against the entire tea party, ALEC, Bradley Foundation, and Koch brothers gang led by the banks and bondholders internationally who want to push austerity, whip up racism and anti-immigrant bigotry and violence – who want to turn back the time when there were no rights of any kind, no union rights, no civil rights, no youth rights, no people’s rights. We say hell no to this agenda.

The people of Wisconsin who have already sacrificed so much cannot stand alone against such a giant enemy. The bankers who have stolen trillions and who have foreclosed on our home and jobs – are the same bankers and billionaires behind this attempt to smash unions and destroy our communities.

What can you do? There is plenty. If your community or youth group or your union has not verbalized its solidarity then make sure they do it now. And make them do more! Send a delegation to Madison to RE-OCCUPY!

We can all get sick. A lot of us are already sick and tired. Whey not get sick for a day or two – and band together with other sick folks to form a caravan to Madison. Stay as long as you can; the people of Wisconsin have open arms and hearts.

Join with your union brothers and sisters for job actions, protests, no business as usual! Union Rights Are Civil rights! Jobs For All, No Budget Cuts! Education, Healthcare & Housing Are Human Rights! Black Lives Matter! No Raids & Deportations! Money For People’s Needs Not War! Stop foreclosures, evictions and utility shutoffs! Stop Destroying the Environment! Reproductive Freedom Now! Solidarity with the LGBTQ community! $15 and a Union! Organize and Mobilize!

The bosses and bankers hate to hear us talk of a “People’s occupations,” “Sit-in’s,” and “general strikes.” So let’s start talking about them and even planning for them where ever we are at and whoever we are – everyone can find a way of participating whether you are a youth or a worker. Let’s face it: Walker and Koch would be on their knees saying “please” if we stuck together and brought their system to a halt.

And if you are too far away – hold a picket line or protest in your town or city square – take it to your favorite bank or billionaire. If the ALEC, Bradley and the Koch brothers have an office, hold a protest there. Go inside if you’re feeling cold. If you’re feeling sit down! After all, we built the buildings – and state capitols – why should we always have to stay outside. SHUT DOWN RTW! RE-OCCUPY THE CAPITOL!
