3,000 March Against Chase & M&I Banks in Milwaukee As Part Of Occupy Wall Street

3,000 poor and working people marched to the Chase and M &I banks today in Milwaukee as part of Occupy Wall Street. A march of about 200 in Appleton today also marched against a Chase Bank branch in that city. Yesterday, Oct. 14 in New Berlin and in Green Bay there were also marches against Chase Bank, the biggest bank in the United States, one of the most profitable. Chase is responsible for foreclosing on millions of homeowners. Chase Bank also funds R.J. Reynolds company which is waging war against tobacco workers in North Carolina attempting to organize a union with the Farm Labor Organizing Committee (FLOC). After the march in Milwaukee protesters then returned to Zeidler Park which is the site of Occupy Milwaukee. All poor and working people are encouraged to go to Zeidler Park at N. 4th Street and Michigan to hold it as the people’s space.
