Milwaukee, October 9: Emergency Vigil, End The Repression In Guerreo

Last week, police in the town of Iguala, Guerrero, opened fire on buses and cars full of student protesters from the nearby Ayotzinapa teachers college. Six were killed and dozens injured. 43 students were then kidnapped by local government forces. Now, mass graves have been found on the outskirts of town, with at least 21 confirmed bodies found. They were burned before burial.

Political repression of unions, social movements, and youth activists has intensified under the Peña Nieto regime. The people of México continue to fight back, and we must stand with them against these attacks. Join YES this Thursday at 7pm.

Vigilia de emergencia: Alto a la represión en Guerrero, México!

La semana pasada, la policia de Iguala, Gro. disparó en contra de autobuses que transportaban estudiantes normalistas de la localidad de Ayotzinapa. 6 normalistas fueron asesinados en el lugar, una veintena de heridos y 43 estudiantes desaparecidos fueron el saldo de una ola de terror protagonizada for la policia minicipal y sicarios. Ahora, se fueron encontradas fosas ilegales con almenos 21 cuerpos confirmados. Fueron calcinados.

La represión politica de sindicatos, movimientos sociales, y de activistas estudiantes se ha intensificado bajo el régimen represor de Enrique Peña Nieto. El pueblo de México continua la lucha, nosotros debemos de apoyar su lucha contra estos ataques provenientes del estado y el narco. Lo invitamos a acudir a esta vigila organizada por YES, este Jueves a las 7 PM.
