Hosted by The Wisconsin Coalition to Normalize Relations with Cuba

639 N 25th Street, Milwaukee, 7 P.M.

Cuba Coalition Meeting features update on Cuba Travel status and Cuban special guest appearance

Tuesday, Nov. 14, 7pm: Hear the impact of the latest restrictions on our right to travel, after the new regulations just issued by the Trump administration; and then meet & hear an informal discussion with Cuban specialist in international relations and study, Henry Heredia. We will also discuss and finalize our plans to bring the dynamic Cuban educator who was at age 7 the youngest teacher in Cuba’s famed Literacy Campaign which virtually wiped out adult illiteracy in Cuba in one year, Griselda Aguilera Cabrera. She now belongs to the Cuban Society of Psychology’s Working Group on Identity and Diversity, and participates in workshops and activities to combat homophobia, racial discrimination, prejudices against people with HIV/AIDS, and violence against women and girls.
