In Durham, NC, protesters destroyed a confederate statue. Is that a useful rallying point, or is it a distraction from more pressing material issues? That’s one question in an enlightening discussion with labor organizer, UW PhD student, WWP member (and Carolina transplant) Griffin Bur.
