
The year 2022 marks the 100th anniversary of Howard Zinn (August 24, 1922-January 27, 2010). To celebrate and highlight his life’s work, we share the various ways organizations, publishers, and individuals are honoring his legacy throughout the year. Let us know if you have any plans to commemorate the centennial. The options are endless. You could make available chapters or prefaces that haven’t been released in a digital format or were written posthumously. Making a DVD available online for free streaming. Create a display at your institution. Host a panel or book talk. Write an op-ed. Also, be sure to use the hashtag #HowardZinn100 on social media. For inspiration, check out what is planned so far. We will update details as they become available.
