Starbucks workers strike today
Starbucks workers are staging a National ULP strike today. “The message of the strike is getting a seat at the bargaining table,” reports Chris Roell of Workers United. In the metro DC area, workers at the Arlington Courthouse and Olney Md Starbucks are striking. The Arlington picket line is 7:30a-11:30a, Olney picket line: 7;00am – Noon. There are also actions at these DC locations: 1730 Pennsylvania Avenue (10a); 1455 K St., NW (9a); 14th & H St NW (10:30a); 1401 New York Ave NW (10:30a); Foxhall Square (AU), 3301 New Mexico Ave NW (9a).
