November 26, 2019: Nationwide protests at US airports with airline catering workers

On November 26—the Tuesday before Thanksgiving Day—through marches, pickets, sit-downs and die-ins—airline catering workers and their supporters will call on American Airlines to take urgent and necessary steps to ensure workers who cater inflight meals and beverages are able to escape poverty and access health care.

Protests will take place at major airports in:

* Charlotte (CLT)
* Chicago (ORD)
* Dallas-Ft. Worth (DFW)
* Denver (DIA)
* Detroit (DTW)
* Honolulu (HNL)
* Houston (IAH)
* Los Angeles (LAX)
* Miami (MIA)
* Minneapolis (MSP)
* New York (JFK)
* Philadelphia (PHL)
* San Diego (SAN)
* San Francisco (SFO)
* Seattle (SEATAC)
* Washington, D.C. (DCA)

Collectively, this will be the largest demonstration of workers at U.S. airports in years. (❗️)

This day of protests is the latest in a series of demonstrations at U.S. airports calling attention to American Airlines, including large-scale demonstrations in Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, and Dallas-Ft. Worth—where over 50 were arrested in a civil disobedience action near American Airlines’ headquarters and largest hub airport.

Sign and share the petition to call on American Airlines to fix this labor dispute before Thanksgiving week:
